Staying healthy should be a priority for every model and actor on the go. The entertainment industry isn’t just about looking good on the outside, but your physical and mental health should on tip-top shape too. This can be challenging especially with the demanding schedules that comes along with that chosen career. Your body needs to be capable of keeping up with stress and be flexible enough to adjust to any given changes. So taking care of your health must always beon your list if you want to maintain a long-running career.

Here are some helpful tips when it comes to staying healthy in the business:

1. Exercise

Exercise is not only beneficial to the physique but to your mental health as well. So build and manage a routine to keep your body in shape for any occasion. You don’t need to spend countless hours exercising; allotting as much as thirty minutes a day to dedicate yourself into exercising could be enough to keep your energy level steady.

To condition your body, here are exercise routines that you can apply each day:

1. Sit on the edge of a sturdy chair with your hands next to hips.

2. Slide your bottom off the edge and bend elbows 90 degrees.

3. Be sure to keep your back close to the chair to avoid accident, then push yourself back up.

4. Repeat for 10 and a maximum to 12 times.



1. Place your dominant foot on a sturdy bench or chair.

2. Press your heel as you step forward and follow with the opposite foot so you end up standing on the surface.

3. Return to the initial position by stepping down on the opposite foot, then alternate so both feet are on the floor.

4. Complete 15 steps alternating each foot.

2. Value your nutrition

3. Sleep

You can’t put your personal life in the back door once you become an actor or a professional model. This doesn’t mean lavish vacations at the most inconvenient times, but it could be spending quality time with your family or booking a day at a spa. Do not think of pushing your body to the limit as this will only deter your career. Find a balance between your career and personal life to make the most of your life without missing out on any milestones.

Staying healthy is a challenge for everybody, especially with models and actors who are always on their feet and have to go through unpredictable schedules. But with the right amount of dedication and balance, you will find that it is something if you can incorporate good health into your career.
