Technically trained dancers with 1-2 years performance experience needed. Upcoming performance slated in November as part of The Garage's Resident Artist Workshop (RAW). Additional shows TBD, most likely to take place this summer at local venues such as Dance Mission.

I am an emerging choreographer and cannot afford to pay my dancers. However, I will give you exposure and the chance to work in a very collaborative setting, where you can be creative and work with character exploration. I have shown work throughout the Bay Area, including venues such as Dance Mission's New Choreographers' Showcase, the Sunset Festival, Works in the Works, the Salon Series at LEVYdance and 2nd Sundays at CounterPulse.

My work, which is modern at its root, is heavily influenced by rhythm and African, hip-hop, house and jazz. As such, dancers should have a strong technical background in modern (spinal articulation and release with a Horton influence) and/or jazz, and ideally one other world or street dance form. The ability to work in a collaborative setting is a must. In addition, dancers MUST be reliable, responsible and able to commit to Thursday evening rehearsals, from 8-10:30 PM, in the Sunset with the addition of 1-2 midday weekday rehearsals (e.g. 10-12 PM) beginning either in late May or early August.
