"Fiddler", the beloved musical about Tevye, a poor dairyman, who in the face of outside influences upon their lives is raising his five daughters in the traditions of his Jewish community in the little Russian village of Anatevka. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, this musical has touched audiences around the world with its humor, warmth and honesty. Its universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audience crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.
